Accessibility Statement at Queen Anne Manor

Effective Date: July 27th, 2026

Introduction We want every guest to have a comfortable and memorable stay. As an 1890 Queen Anne Victorian, the Manor retains many of its original 19th-century architectural footprints. While the property is not fully ADA-compliant, we have thoughtfully integrated several significant modern upgrades to assist guests with mobility needs.

Entry & Getting Around the Manor

  • Step-Free Entry: Guests can access the home without navigating steps via a ramp located at the rear of the property. This ramp leads from the rear driveway and garage directly into the courtyard, allowing a wheelchair, walker, or luggage to roll seamlessly into the home.

  • Private Elevator: Once inside the rear entrance, guests have direct access to our newly installed, multi-story private elevator, providing effortless transport to the upper-level guest rooms and gathering spaces.

  • Lower Level: The basement level of the home can also be accessed without the use of stairs.

Bathrooms & Historic Features

  • Showers & Restrooms: While all of our bathrooms have been completely modernized and feature large, spacious showers, please note that they are not fully wheelchair accessible, and there are currently no grab bars installed by the toilets or inside the showers.

  • Historic Architecture: As a historic property, some original features remain throughout the house, including standard 19th-century doorway widths and slightly raised thresholds.
