Richly Transformed

Today, Queen Anne Manor has been thoughtfully renovated to provide the comfort and convenience of modern living while carefully respecting the home's historic character and craftsmanship. Modern mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems have been integrated throughout the home, along with a private elevator, beautifully updated kitchen and baths, and numerous contemporary amenities, allowing guests to enjoy the elegance of a nineteenth-century mansion without sacrificing today's comforts.

Preserving the Past, Building the Future

The Kitchen - The Heart of the Manor

Once a bare-stud construction zone exposing original brick and timber, the kitchen has been entirely reimagined. It now features modern, high-end appliances and custom cabinetry, seamlessly flowing into the former butler's pantry, which now serves as our welcoming coffee station. Use the slider below to slide from the old to the new.

The Private Elevator

Integrating modern convenience into a historic footprint is no small feat. This multi-story shaft was meticulously framed into the center of the home to house the manor's new private elevator, providing effortless access across the estate without sacrificing the original floor plan

The Bathrooms

While we preserved the historic character of the gathering spaces, the plumbing and washrooms required a complete overhaul. The dated, mid-century fixtures were entirely stripped and replaced to create four and a half beautifully updated, spa-like baths.

The Sitting Room / Den

Stripped down to its original structural brick and exposed ceiling joists, this space was painstakingly transformed into a cozy, inviting den. We preserved the textural beauty of the historic masonry while exposing the beautifully paneled ceiling and gleaming hardwood floors. Today, it serves as the perfect retreat for guests to relax, seamlessly blending the manor's 19th-century bones with plush, modern comfort.

Outdoor Living Spaces

The rear of the property was completely reimagined to prioritize outdoor relaxation. The aging wooden deck and mismatched exterior were transformed into the expansive upper deck you see today, overlooking our beautifully landscaped courtyard, gazebo, and fountain.
